This is my daughter as she helps us put the pairs out to pasture. Usually, in our area, around the end of April the grass is ready for the cows and their calves. This means that the cattle get all they need nutritionally from the pasture and we don’t have to feed them like we did during the winter months. (except supply their salt/mineral needs) With extra spring work arising, it is a job we are happy to finish! The cows LOVE it too as they crave the taste of the fresh growing grass. Happy trails cows, take good care of your babies.
