One Week = A Huge Difference

A week ago I woke up to 3 inches of snow and now, this week it has been in the high twenties and today it hit 31 degrees Celsius. This crazy weather is wrecking havoc on the river that runs through our ranch. The Coldwater River begins in the mountains, so the snow run-off has a huge impact on its flow. It got so high yesterday that we had to shut off our irrigation pumps because too much dirt and debris was floating down the river. This is a huge concern for us at this time of year, especially with how hot it has been because we need to get water on the fields to ensure our crops will grow. ImageThis picture was taken on May 1
